Green Synthesis of ZnO Nanostructures Using Pyrus pyrifolia: Antimicrobial, Photocatalytic and Dielectric Properties

In this study, zinc oxide nanostructures (ZnO NS) were synthesized using Pyrus pyrifolia fruit extract. Biophysical characterization results confirmed that the materials are crystalline wurtzite ZnO structures. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) revealed NS cubical, and sizes range 20–80 nm. Transmission (TEM) XRD a crystal lattice spacing of 0.23 nm (101) plane on NS. UV-Visible spectrophotometer showed an absorbance peak at 373 The demonstrated significant antibacterial activity analyzed by metabolic analysis disc diffusion assay against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus. FESEM bacterial membrane disruption release cytoplasmic contents was studied analysis. Further, achieved good photocatalytic decolorizing 88% methylene blue (MB) in 60 min. dielectric constant loss found to be 3.19 2.80 1 kHz, respectively. research findings from study could offer new insights for developing potential materials.
